Houston Western Data Systems was established by Michael Hefer in 1982 and has gradually expanded his company to six stores and two states. Southlake (Dallas/Ft Worth) The Dallas and Fort Worth office established and located originally in Carrollton TX in 1998. The Dallas/Ft Worth store quickly out grew their location and moved to Southlake to better cover the area and ease of access to customer. Austin The Austin store was in 2000 along with the San Antonio store. They both were combined in San Marcos, TX and quickly realized that to better take care of the customer, they split the store into two to give their customers the best support and service in the hill country. The Austin location offers Sales, Rentals and Support of all your Survey, Mapping/GIS and Building Construction needs.

San Antonio The San Antonio store was in 2000 along with the Austin store. Oklahoma City Since 2006, Western Data Systems has been providing equipment sales, rentals and support from their facility in Edmond, Oklahoma. By 2013, the original office had been outgrown, and we have now relocated to a much larger facility in north Oklahoma City. We are also pleased to announce that we now offer a complete line of Surveying and Construction Supplies, along with our industry leading equipment sales, rentals and support.

McAllen In 2009 Western Data Systems established it latest edition in Pharr Texas. In May of 2012 the Pharr office moved to McAllen to better cover the south Texas valley region, The McAllen office still provides all your Sales, Rentals and Support needs in Survey, Mapping/GIS and Building Construction.
